Thank You, Universal Studios Singapore

This post is very likely to be my last Universal Studios Singapore post in a long time. I am leaving Singapore soon and moving to a new country to continue my studies.

Universal Studios Singapore has been a great friend during my 5 years in Singapore. It's one of the most accessible, if not THE most accessible, theme parks in the world, and I found myself always craving for a visit whenever I am in that area.

It's not just a playground, either. I have made new friends, strengthened the bonds with my old pals, done self-reflection, and even studied for my exams, all in this special place.

Therefore, this post is a thank you letter to Universal Studios Singapore.

Shanghai Disneyland is opening later this year. Since the opening date, June 16, is fairly close to school summer holidays, I can't help worrying about the huge crowds in the park during its first few months.

Fortunately, Fastpasses and Single Rider lines can help reduce the wait times significantly. Today let's take a look at those attractions with which you can enjoy these benefits!

Single Rider Lines

If you are enjoying the park by yourself, you may enter the Single Rider line for the following attractions!

Guests will be immersed in popular Disney stories that come to life at the largest castle in a Disney park, at the first Pirates-themed land in a Disney park, on the longest Disney Parks parade route and in more enchanting places filled with thrills, creativity and adventure. Many of Shanghai Disneyland’s attractions and entertainment experiences will be appearing in a Disney theme park for the first time.

The Shanghai Disneyland Hotel is an elegant Art Nouveau-inspired resort with a touch of Disney magic and imagination, while the Toy Story Hotel immerses guests in a world inspired by the toys from the Disney•Pixar series of Toy Story animated films.

Another “must-see” for guests will be the innovative World of Disney Store, offering a comprehensive collection of Disney merchandise, including many products designed especially for Shanghai Disney Resort.
  • Wishing Star Park, with beautiful gardens, a walking path and a glittering lake. With approximately 40 hectares, the size of 56 football fields, Wishing Star Park presents guests with awe-inspiring natural views and beautiful sunsets.
The announcement was made this morning, together with a few photo updates of the construction and preparation happening inside the park.

First we take a look at the Enchanted Storybook Castle. It's certainly looking majestic.
